Toledo police have opened a death investigation after missing Ohio woman, Sharon Ward, was located dead by a St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center maintenance worker Thursday. Ward had been missing since December 30.
After spotting a woman’s shoe, a St. Vincent worker found Ward’s body near a 6-story parking structure in some bushes. Police say Ward either fell or jumped from the sixth floor of the parking garage.
According to Toledo police, officers responded to a person down call in the parking lot of the hospital. One of the hospital’s maintenance workers noticed a shoe in the bushes near the parking garage.
The original missing adult alert released by Toledo police said Ward had possible medical and emotional issues. source
The Count.com has obtained a copy of wards final Facebook post which comments that “life is short.”
According to Facebook, Ward worked at JA Morrin Construction, LLC.
