A shocking video posted by Youtube star, Logan Paul, titled, “BRO, DID WE JUST FIND A DEAD PERSON IN THE SUICIDE FOREST?,” depicted a victim of an apparent suicide located in Japan’s Aokigahara forest, aka, Suicide Forest.
Paul apologized, while admitting bad judgement for the stunt, after uploading the sick video while visiting the area, commonly known as the “suicide forest.” Paul sports a whopping 15M subscribers on the popular video sharing platform.
The video has since been deleted from the Youtube star’s channel.
The video starts with a viewer discretion warning to Paul’s 15 million-plus subscribers. Paul speaks to the camera in a somber tone, saying he hasn’t monetized the video with adverts and that “this is the most real vlog I’ve ever posted on this channel.” He then tells viewers: “With that said: buckle the fuck up, because you’re never gonna see a video like this again.”
At one point in the disgusting video, Paul talks to the camera, saying: “Suicide is not a joke. Depression and mental illnesses are not a joke. We came here with an intent to focus on the haunted aspect of the forest. This just became very real.”
