Two people killed in a murder-suicide in Singer Island, Florida, Wednesday afternoon have been identified as Holly Given and Richard Bater-Timilty.
Police believe, 27-year-old Bater-Timilty, aka, Travis Timilty, shot Given, 26, and then turned the gun on himself.
Officials say the two were found diseased in their apartment in the 1200 block of Surf Road, between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Investigators believe Bater-Timilty shot Given and then shot himself. Neighbors reported hearing two ‘pops’ from the apartment around midnight. source
Police don’t have a history of domestic calls involving the couple.
The investigation is ongoing.
According to Facebook, Given worked at Sailfish Marina and was a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate Company.
