ID’d: OH Woman Killed In Columbus House Fire After Falling Asleep While Cooking

Lakisha Kelsor has been named as the Ohio woman who died in a house fire in east Columbus, according to the Columbus Division of Fire. She was 41.

According to firefighters, they responded to reports of a house fire around 3 a.m. Saturday on the 4500 block of Keeler Drive. Kelsor, aka, Kisha Kel, was pronunced dead at the scene.

Columbus Division of Fire Battalion Chief Steve Martin said it appears 41-year-old Lakisha Kelsor died after she fell asleep while cooking. Martin said she was home alone and there were no working smoke alarms in the house. source

The fire was ruled accidental.
