Akayed Ullah, the 27-year-old terrorist who attempted a suicide bombing Monday, during morning rush hour at New York City’s Port Authority subway near Times Square, is now known to be an immigrant from Bangladesh.
Ullah was living in Brooklyn and came to the United States in 2011 through a policy termed “chain migration.”
Ullah’s attempted suicide bomb “did not fully detonate,” but four people received minor injuries from the incident, though none of the injuries were considered life-threatening.
