Norfolk, Virginia resident, Hannah Feinberg and a 5-year-old child were killed in a two vehicle crash on Route 460 in Waverly. Hannah was 27.
The crash occurred Friday night around 11:17 p.m. on General Mahone Highway, west of Cabin Point Road.
Feinberg’s 2012 Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Route 460 when she lost control, running off of the roadway and hitting a guardrail. The crash caused the vehicle to spin out into the eastbound lanes and into the path of a tractor trailer. source
Feinberg and a 5-year-old child were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to reports. Earlier reports indicated Feinberg’s daughter had been killed in the crash, however, a Facebook comment called that information into question. Feinberg’s relationship to the child was not clarified in the comment.
Feinberg was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
According to Facebook, Feinberg worked as a banquet kitchen supervisor at Doubletree Hotel and at Sweetwater Cuisine. She was a former 92G at U.S. Army. She was from From Chesapeake, Virginia and lived in Norfolk, Virginia.
