Columbus police have identified Severen Clayborn as the second victim in a shooting that killed two people in the Hilltop, Ohio, Monday. He was 33.
Clayborn, who lived at 215 S Wayne Ave Columbus, OH, was shot dead in his bed after stray bullets hit him inside his home while he was likely sleeping, Police said.
The shootings happened around 9:30 a.m. When officers arrived on scene they found 17-year-old Quentin William Smith in an alley behind a home in the 100 block of South Wayne Avenue. He was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and was rushed to Mount Carmel West Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 11:07 a.m. Police said Clayborn was found around 12:42 p.m. when investigators noticed several bullet holes on the outside of his home. They said they knocked on the door, but there was no answer. Police then broke down the door and found Clayborn dead. source
Investigators say there were at least two suspects who have yet to be identified.
