Murrells Inlet Army Engineer Killed In Myrtle Beach Motorcycle Accident

Samuel Newcomb has been identified as the South Carolina man who died while operating a motorcycle on Highway 544 and Big Block Road. The Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. He was 21.

According to his Facebook page, Newcomb had recently enlisted in the Army and was working as an engineer. Also according to Facebook, he worked at Bess landscaping and lawn maintenance.

Horry County Fire Rescue reported this to be a fatal accident involving a motorcycle. Horry County Coroner Michelle McSpadden identified the victim as Newcomb, of Murrells Inlet. source
