Lamont Booker, of Henrico, VA., has been identified as the man found Saturday in the James River near the Dutch Gap boat landing.
Chesterfield Police say, at this point they do not suspect foul play in the death of the 48-year-old. Booker was found dead around 10:50 a.m. on the shore.
A cause of death has not yet been determined, but “at this point there are no signs of foul play,” Chesterfield police said Monday. source
According to his Facebook page, Booker worked in the athletics department for Richmond Public Schools.
Friends and family members took to social media to remember Booker.
