“Don’t Do Me Like That!” Tom Petty NOT DEAD

The LAPD was forced to rescind an earlier report that said musician Tom Petty had died.

According to new reports, Petty is down but not out. He was found unresponsive in his Malibu home, transferred to the hospital and placed on life-support where he remains.

Reports say, family members blasted earlier reports that said superstar had passed away. The LAPD issued a rare retracted statement that said Petty had died.

Further reports indicated Petty may not make it through the night as family members have issued a “do not resuscitate” order.
