Two GA police officers were shot, one fatally, about 60 miles northwest of Atlanta.
A woman was taken into custody in the shooting and Seth Brandon Spangler is still at large, according to the GBI.
The GBI has issued a blue alert for Seth Brandon Spangler in the area of 123 Santa Claus Road in Cave Spring. The GBI said he is considered armed and dangerous. Officials ask anyone who sees Spangler, to not approach him and call 911 immediately. source
The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office told WAGA that there are two suspects in the shooting, but only Spangler is at large. The suspect in custody is a female.
Ten units from the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
