Katie Weathers was named as the Lebanon woman involved in a fatal accident that occurred on Interstate-40 eastbound before mile-marker 231 in Wilson County early Sunday morning.
26-year-old Weathers was driving when she apparently sideswiped another vehicle on I-40, swerved and lost control. She crossed I-40 and hit a rock wall, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol preliminary report.
There was no evidence of drugs or alcohol found. She was not wearing a seat, the report states.
In lieu of sending flowers, donations may be made through the Journey Church to the “Katie’s Corner” fund.
You can give by going to tjclive.com/giving and going to Katie’s Corner in the memo section. Donations can also be made at Wilson Bank & Trust locations.source
