A dramatic video has emerged showing the moment two busses collided in Queens, NY.
The violent crash killed three people and injured at least 16 and involved a New York City transit bus and a tour bus. The crash occurred early on Monday in the city’s borough of Queens.
One of the busses can be seen spinning and slamming into a building after being struck.
Firefighters pulled passengers from the wreckage after the city bus collided with a Dahlia tour bus in the Flushing neighborhood shortly after 6 a.m. EDT, according to the New York City Fire Department. The tour bus was traveling east on Northern Boulevard when the city bus, which was carrying 15 passengers, tried to make a right turn on the same street, police said. It was not clear how many passengers were on the tour bus. source
“Just shocking to see the scene over there,” New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said. “Hard to compare to anything I’ve ever seen.”
Authorities said speed may have been a factor in the crash.
