The Midland Police Department has identified Baneza Norez as the victim who died in a weekend drowning at the Waterford at North Park apartments in Midland, TX.
Police say they are actively investigating the Sunday night drowning.
Midland officers were called out to the Waterford at North Park apartments just before 10 p.m. where they found a female who nearly drowned. source
She was taken to the hospital while still alive, but she later died there.
Friends and family took to Facebook to remember Norez.
According to her Facebook page, Norez is married.
