According to the professor’s Linkedin page, she worked as a Research Instructor of Neurology at Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center.
The UNC Charlotte community is grieving in the aftermath of the finding out that the body of a well-liked professor, Jeannine Shante Skinner, was found Friday in southwest Charlotte. Police said Skinner’s body was found in an apartment near South Tryon Street around noontime. source
Skinner worked as a professor in UNC’s psychology department, according to the university website. Authorities went to the apartment to do a welfare check and made the grisly discovery.
Police said Franklin was last seen driving a maroon / burgundy Jeep with the license plate number 0512KN, according to police.
