Natalie Thoennes, the Bonita Springs woman involved in a Fort Myers motorcycle crash has died days after being injured.
28-year-old Jason Polly, the lead singer for rock band, A200, was operating the bike with Thoennes, aka, Natalie Rose, as his passenger at around 2 a.m when it crashed into a vehicle early Tuesday, the FHP said Sunday. Polly escaped the crash with minor injuries.
The report states a driver in front of Polly began to slow for an animal crossing McGregor Boulevard near Whiskey Creek, and Polly failed to slow, slamming into the back of that vehicle.
Polly was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Thoennes was also taken to Lee Memorial, where she died Saturday. The other driver was not injured.source
All three people involved had alcohol in their systems, according to the report.
