Loup City, Nebraska man, James “Jim” O’Brien has been pictured by family members after he died in a motorcycle and car collision in Grand Island, NE.
Grand Island Police say the motorcycle rider, O’Brien, died from injuries sustained during the accident.
The accident happened shortly after 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Highway 281 and State Street. O’Brien was wearing a novelty helmet at the time of the accident. GIPD say a DOT approved helmet may have prevented the seriousness of the head injury contributing to his death. source
