Travis Hibshman, of Ephrata, has been named as the man killed in a crash Tuesday morning in Lancaster County.
The crash happened at the intersection of 322 and Pumping Station Road in Elizabeth Township just after 5 a.m., said the State Police.
Hibshman’s 1995 Chrysler Concorde was traveling eastbound when it went off the road and hit a tree head-on. Hibshman was the only person inside the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. State police said he was not wearing a seatbelt. source
The road was closed for several hours but is now open.
Hibshman was an avid hockey fan and player who wore #44. He was part of a league that won the 2013 Nashville Tournament Championship.
The crash remains under investigation.
