NC Man SHOOTS GF DEAD Then Dumps Body Off In Wheelchair Outside Hospital

Albertus Lewis is the North Carolina Man charged with murder after cops say he killed his girlfriend, Mayra Sanchez, then left her in a wheelchair outside a Columbia hospital.

Lewis, 23, is facing murder charges and obstruction of justice after police Initially arrested him on other charges related to the incident. Investigators say they found enough evidence to charge him with the death of Sanchez, 20.

Officers say back on July 5, Lewis dropped off 20-year-old Mayra Sanchez was dropped off at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital. with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Investigators say Lewis was Sanchez’s boyfriend. Deputies say he placed her in a wheelchair, then left the scene.

The victim’s family says Sanchez was a graduate of Richland Northeast and worked at Boost Mobile in West Columbia. Her mother, Guadalupe Sanchez, says the family had put a restraining order against Lewis about two months ago.
