Louisiana man, Alex Babineaux, was shot dead in a drive-by shooting this morning in Church Point.
Babineaux, 33, was walking down N Wilson Street when he was shot multiple times. Officers responded to the scene at 5:42 a.m.
Babineaux later died from his injuries at a local hospital.
The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Acadia Parish Coroner’s Office are assisting the Church Point Police Department with this case.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
