Motorcycle rider, Steven Adams, was killed when his bike hit a deer and then went into the path of an SUV near Patriot, Indiana. His fiancee, Deborah Bloch, 50, was airlifted to a local hospital. Her condition has not yet been updated.
Indiana State Police say Adams, 60, aka, “The Ghost,” was riding his Harley eastbound on State Road 156 near Concord Road with his passenger, Bloch, when the deer crossed their path. Bloch was thrown from the motorcycle. Adams and the motorcycle crossed the centerline and were hit by a Chevy Equinox.
Adams was killed. Bloch was transported by helicopter to UC Medical Center. The SUV driver wasn’t hurt.
Bloch worked as a bartender at Whiskey and Wine Saloon in Indiana.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends at this difficult time.
