Deputies have confirmed that the death of a North Fort Myers, FL., Vacation Bible School teacher, Jo Ann Leasure, is being investigated as a homicide.
Leasure, 77, was found Wednesday morning inside her Parkway condo on Hancock Bridge Parkway during a welfare check after she failed to show up at Covenant Presbyterian Church for Vacation Bible School.
Investigators have not released a cause of death or said if they’re still looking for a suspect.
