An Okmulgee County, OK., judge has sentenced Randy Kelley to 10 years in prison for secretly recording women. Kelley was arrested in 2016 after he put hidden cameras in tanning bed rooms at a gym.
Kelley entered a guilty plea May 26 to two counts of peeping tom with the use of photographic or electronic equipment, according to the Okmulgee County District Attorney’s Office.
The cameras recorded patrons who fully or partially disrobed in the tanning rooms, the DA’s office said. “Mr. Kelley made a conscious choice to take actions and place electronic devices in areas that people believed were secure and safe and private,” District Attorney Rob Barris said. “The images obtained of females in those areas victimized them and invaded their privacy and security. Those choices had consequences which Mr. Kelley must now face.” h/t
Kelley was sentenced to five years in prison for each charge.
