New York woman, Jennifer Lee Henry, was taken into custody while traveling through Philadelphia International Airport after police say she kicked, tripped and spit at officers as they attempted to detain her.
The incident occurred after police responded to reports of a “disturbance” in Terminal A of the airport Monday night at around 9:50 p.m. Arriving officers observed Henry, 46, angrily hurling racial slurs at an airport employee.
According to the Tinicum Township Police Department, Henry of Macedon, New York was intoxicated and shouting racial slurs at an airport employee. As authorities attempted to take her into custody, police say she kicked and attempted to trip the officers. They say she also spit in the face of one of the airport police officers. h/t WPVI
Cops threw the book at Henry, charging her with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness.
She is currently free after posting $40,000 bail.
