Authorities say, Claudena Helton, who shot her two young children in the head, says she did the unthinkable to “save them from the evils of the world” She is scheduled to make her first court appearance Monday afternoon, May 22.
Khmorra and Kaiden Helton died as a result of their injuries Sunday, May 21 at Dayton Children’s Hospital.
According to an affidavit, Helton admitted to police that she’d shot two of children in the head. It goes on to state that Helton told police she shot the children to save them from the ‘evils of the world.’
Online jail records show Helton is being held on two counts of attempted aggravated murder and four counts of felonious assault. FOX 45
