Authorities in Shelby County have called a medical helicopter to the scene of a school bus wreck that occurred in Shelbyville Monday afternoon.
According to a tweet from the Texas Department of Transportation, the bus wreck occurred near the intersection of FM 139 and County Road 2552.
The helicopter is staging at the Ephesus Baptist Church near the school bus crash.
Motorists should prepare for delays, and they are urged to choose alternate routes if possible.
