Tragedy Strikes NJ BBQ After Lightning Strikes Tree That Fell Killing Man Injuring Others

A NJ man has died and others were injured while attending a Mother’s Day barbecue after a tree was struck by a bolt of lightning. The man was struck in the head and killed by a falling tree.
A lightning strike hit the tree just before 5 p.m. Sunday during a storm moving through the area. The man was reportedly enjoying an outside barbecue on Paulson Avenue in Passaic when the tree struck him on the head.

Multiple other people were also injured.
