Daezion Turner has been identified as the juvenile shot and killed by Killeen, TX., police after the boy fired at officers. Turner was 15 years old.
An officer was injured in the deadly incident and transported to a local hospital. The officer’s injuries were said not related to the shooting. No further informations was released on the officer’s condition.
Police were called to the T-Mobile store at the Killeen Marketplace off East Central Texas Expressway on a report of a robbery a little after 4 p.m. Monday. When police arrived they confronted Turner who ran away through the parking lot. Three officers chased after him at which point, police said, the man turned around and started shooting. The officers returned fire and Turner was killed. h/t kcentv
Authorities have not yet released how many times the suspect was shot or how many times he shot at police.
