Authorities in Zionsville, Ind., are searching for Lucius Oliver Hamilton III, a college employee who they say may be responsible for the deaths of a woman and her young child. Hamilton works as a senior major gifts officer at Wabash College in Crawfordsville,
The bodies were discovered at a residence in the upscale suburban Indianapolis neighborhood. A manhunt is now on for Hamilton. He is six feet tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.
Boone County Sheriff Mike Nielsen says Lucius Oliver Hamilton III, a 61-year-old employee of Wabash College in Crawfordsville, is at large and considered armed and dangerous.Nielsen says the man checked out a college van Wednesday morning and was last seen on the campus. As a result of the investigation, Wabash College was placed on lockdown and students were told to shelter in place. Classes were also canceled. The college has been locked down and is being searched but Nielsen says the man isn’t believed to be in the area. Police advise the college’s students, faculty, and staff to stay indoors and shelter in place. Classes have been canceled for the rest of the day. h/t
