Matthew Perry will not appear on the upcoming Friends reunion special on NBC citing prior engagements.
Perry, 46, says he’s too busy to participate in the highly anticipated reunion. The actor is currently rehearsing for his London play The End of Longing.
NBC apparently still hopes that he will be able to contribute in some way, but it’s unknown in what capacity. The network first announced that all six sitcom stars – Matthew, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow – would appear on its February 2 special dedicated to director James Burrows. h/t justjared
