University of California, Merced, officials announced via Twitter that Five students have been stabbed on campus. The condition of the victims has not yet been released.
The UCmerced campus has been shuttered, and classes canceled, according to the Socal university.
The suspect was reportedly shot and killed by responding law enforcement.
