Porsche has responded to a wrongful death lawsuit filed against them by Meadow Walker, the daughter of late actor Paul Walker.
In the brief statement, Porsche states that they are sticking by the official report that says, the vehicle’s driver was speeding and driving recklessly at the time of tragic fatal accident and thus at fault.
“As we have said before, we are very sad whenever anyone is hurt in a Porsche vehicle, but we believe the authorities’ reports in this case clearly establish that this tragic crash resulted from reckless driving and excessive speed,” a representative for Porsche said in a statement.
Paul Walker died two years ago in the fiery crash of his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT while traveling shotgun with his friend Roger Rodas. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
