TX Pot Candy Bust Alarming Parents As Halloween Approaches

A recent pot bust in Conroe Tx., is raising concern among parents nationwide as Halloween approaches.

Montgomery County authorities discovered during a narcotics sting targeting an illegal shipment of hydroponic marijuana from California, that the marijuana had been fashioned into candy that was then shipped across state lines for delivery.

Monday afternoon, agents executed a search warrant at a home in the 10300 block of Airport Road in Conroe. During a search, agents reported found what they call a “substantial amount” of marijuana and tetrahydrocannabinol. h/t abc13

Terry Keith Wendt, 55, was charged with manufacturing delivery of a controlled substance F-1, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and felony possession of marijuana. Wendt has a $50,000 bond and remains in the Montgomery County Jail.
