It was recently revealed that former U.S. president Richard Nixon suggested Donald Trump run for office 30 years ago in the form of a personal letter.
Pat Nixon was apparently so impressed by Trump’s appearance on the Donahue Show, that she told her husband, prompting him to fire off the letter.
Former first lady Pat Nixon caught Trump’s appearance on the popular 80s daytime talk show, “Donahue.” On the show, a younger Trump talked about a variety of problems America faced at the time and explained how he thought they could best be fixed. h/t conservativetribune
The letter from Nixon was revealed by author Michael D’Antonio in his Trump biography, “Never Enough.”
