Stevie Wonder revealed himself as a bit of a mommie dearest, after telling a photog that his young son will not be receiving a gift on his 14th birthday because, “he’s got to work harder.”
When the photog asked the boy what he was getting for his birthday, he responded dejectedly, “nothing.” Wonder was on his way to dinner when he make the striking admission.
Stevie was out with his sons Kailand and Mandla at Mr. Chow … for Kailand’s 14th birthday — and you gotta figure a super famous and successful dad like Stevie gives awesome gifts, right? Our photog raised the issue, and got a surprising — and maybe admirable — response. Let’s just say … signed, sealed, delivered? Not always.
