SLASH: AXL And I Are COOL Again

In a new interview on Swedish TV, former Guns N’ Roses guitarist, Slash says he has reconciled with his nemesis, Axl Rose.

Slash, promoting the new Marshall London Cell phone, was asked while appearing on Aftonbladet TV,

“I’ve heard that you’ve made friends with Axl Rose again.” Instead of dismissing the comment, Slash confirmed the news, saying, “It was probably way overdue, you know. But it’s… you know, it’s very cool at this point. You know, let some of that, sort of, negative … dispel some of that negative stuff that was going on for so long.” h/t loudwire

When pressed on whether or not the breakthrough meant an impending GnR tour, Slash nipped it in the bud saying, “Oh, I couldn’t answer that one, though. All right, let’s get off the subject, ’cause, you know, that’s an old one.”

In Axl’s last comments about Slash, he called him a “whore” and a “cancer.”
