Tony Lara, the captain on Discovery Channel’s reality show, “Deadliest Catch,” has died. He was 50.
Lara during the Sturgis motorcycle rally in South Dakota on Saturday, however, his death was not believed related.
An autopsy was scheduled to be performed on Monday to determine cause of death.
The captain caught crabs on the boat for 10 years in the 1990s and was a close friend of Phil Harris, who also died in 2010.
