Just a week after being attacked and successfully fighting off a shark during a televised surf competition in South Africa, surfer Mick Fanning has again had a runin with the ocean eating machine.
After returning to his home in New South Wales, Fanning braved the waves for the first time since the attack, and ran smack dab into another shark.
“There he is,” said Fanning pointing to the ocean and telling a reporter he has seen a shark. “Straight out, I just saw it.” h/t time
Fanning was filming his return to the water for 60 Minutes Australia, when he had deja vu of a shark encounter.
This time Fanning was on a jet ski and not a surfboard when he claimed to have spotted the shark.
