North Charleston police officer, Sgt. Shannon Dildine, was issued a pink slip after posting to Facebook a picture of himself donning Confederate flag boxer shorts.
Police Chief Eddie Driggers sent Dildine a termination letter, saying the photo undermines the officer’s “ability to improve trust and instill confidence when working with our citizens.”
The photo spread like wildfire across the Internets Thursday after being posted a few days ago.
