North Charleston police officer, Sgt. Shannon Dildine, was issued a pink slip after posting to Facebook a picture of himself donning Confederate flag boxer shorts.
Police Chief Eddie Driggers sent Dildine a termination letter, saying the photo undermines the officer’s “ability to improve trust and instill confidence when working with our citizens.”
