Dylann Roof, the young man who shot and killed nine people in a Charleston church, was captured on two dash cams the moment police pull him over.
In the footage, officers can be seen approaching Roof’s car after catching up to him in Shelby, North Carolina on June 18.
Roof is frisked by the police officer once he gets out of the car, then is put in handcuffs while facing his vehicle. An officer then walks the 21-year-old over to one of the at least three police vehicles on the scene. One of the dash cam recordings even captures the moment that police officers are seen high-fiving each other after Roof is in the police vehicle.
The arrest took place about 240 miles north of Emanuel AME Church, where the shooting took place around 9 p.m. the night before.
