An anonymous woman walked into a Toys’R’Us in Bellingham, Massachusetts and told the cashier she wanted to pay off the entire layaway balance.
The mystery woman told the cashier that she wanted to pay off a layaway account, when the cashier asked which one, she said “all of them.” She then paid 154 layaway accounts, in full, totaling more than $20,000.
“I have no words. I can’t believe someone would do that, it’s so nice,” said Diane Brewer, whose son’s gifts were paid for. “I have been running around all week picking up layaways everywhere, so this is really awesome.” h/t pix11
Since the kind act, the lady has been dubbed “Layaway Angel.”
“I’m so happy about it I cried a little,” one person said.
