A Goodyear Phoenix police officer was arrested after being accused of secretly recording dozens of women while they changed at an Avondale tanning salon.
Local news reports say that Avondale police booked officer Jeffrey Streeter, 44, on 31 counts of surreptitious recording and one count of tampering with physical evidence.
An Avondale police spokesman said a victim spotted a camera phone atop a dividing wall that separates tanning salon rooms while she was changing.
Investigators found video of 20 other women.
He says the officer allegedly recorded them by reaching over the divider or through a partition door.
The salon owner says he plans to raise the height of the walls.
The officer is a nine-year veteran of the Goodyear Police Department and has been placed on administrative leave.
