Police say they have apprehended the trigger man in a fatal shooting at Papa John’s Pizzaria.
A suspect has been taken into custody in the robbery and shooting death of a Papa John’s employee in Maury County.
Investigators from the Columbia Police Department made the arrest Wednesday and expect more arrests, saying the suspect in custody was the man who pulled the trigger and killed 22-year-old Gordon Schaffer.
Schaffer was shot after he was unable to open the safe.
