Las Vegas I-15 Shutdown Over Suspicious Package

Southbound Interstate 15 in central Las Vegas is currently closed over a suspicious package.

Police, bomb squad and the Clark County Fire Department are all on-scene investigating the unknown parcel.

Drivers are being required to find alternate routes.

The package is positioned against a concrete barrier on the right shoulder of the freeway south of Tropicana.

The suspicious package appears to be some type of bag.
