Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland, filed a restraining order against her ex, Matt Prokop, whom she claims shoved her into a vehicle and then choked her and threatened to harm her dog and burn down her house.
Prokop, 24, is accused of shoving Hyland up against a car, choking her and threatened her life during an argument in May.
Hyland reportedly enlisted the help of her TV mom, Julie Bowen, to help end the five-year relationship.
