Authorities in San Jose are reporting that San Francisco 49er Defensive Lineman Ray McDonald was arrested early Sunday morning on felony domestic violence.
Cops arrived at McDonald’s home in San Jose early Sunday morning and arrested him on felony charges.
Sources say other 49er team members were at this home at the time of his arrest just before 3 a.m. Sunday. The arrest comes less than a week after the NFL instituted a new policy cracking down on domestic violence. That policy comes with a minimum six day suspension. source
Sunday’s arrest was not a first for McDonald, in 2010 he was arrested for an outstanding warrant stemming from a DUI arrest that year.
