Marion Barry, the controversial Former D.C. Mayor and current Councilman, was involved in a wrong-way crash in D.C. on Saturday night.

The accident happened in the 2900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE.

Police sources tell FOX 5’s Paul Wagner that Barry was spotted driving the wrong way down Pennsylvania Avenue from Branch Avenue and then was involved in a collision with another car. source

 
Barry’s condition is not known.  An ambulance was called to the scene.  Sources tell FOX 5 Barry suffered a diabetic emergency, and was taken to a nearby hospital with low blood sugar.
