Two teenage brothers have been left scarred after a fun day of temporary henna tattoos turned permanent.

Liam and Owen Groves received temporary tattoos while on holiday in Egypt over Easter, there was one little problem, they were permanent.

They first noticed something was wrong when they couldn’t stop itching and had to be taken out of school when they returned to Britain.

The brothers were meant to receive natural henna tattoos but were instead given super strong black henna, which led to the burns on their backs. source

Liam, 16, was left with a red mark in the shape of a dragon, while Owen, 14, has a smaller indentation on the top part of his back.

The two had managed to convince their reluctant mother Alison Groves to let them get the temporary tattoos.
