Coroner: Philip Seymour Hoffman Died From SPEEDBALL

The coroner just made Philip Seymour Hoffman’s cause of death official and it

was a killer combination of heroin, cocaine, and several other drugs.

The medical examiner listed the cause of death as “acute mixed drug intoxication.”

The drugs in the actor’s system at the time of his death were heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines (anti-anxiety) and amphetamines (uppers like Adderall).

Speedballing is a deadly mixture of heroin and cocaine, the same concoction that killed Chris Farley, River Phoenix, and John Belushi.
