Salma Hayek’s brother, Sami, is hospitalized with broken ribs after being involved in a Los Angeles car crash that killed his passenger, a Grammy award winning Hollywood art director.
Cops say, Ian Cuttler Sala, 43, was killed on Sunset Boulevard after the 2006 Ford GT he was traveling in lost control and collided with a 2011 Toyota Tacoma pickup.

Cuttler was a Grammy winning photographer and art director who worked on “Johnny Cash: The Legend” music box set.
Investigators haven’t determined what caused Hayek to lose control.
Hayek, the younger brother of the actress, is a furniture designer.
